Dr. Rachit grew up in Jaipur (Rajasthan) completed his undergraduation (MBBS) from SMS Medical College, Jaipur and doctorate of medicine (MD) in PMR from prestigious RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata. After his Post Graduation, he was posted in Jalpaiguri District Hospital which is located in a small district town in the foothills of Himalayas in North Bengal where he setup the first Pain Clinic and Rehabilitation Medicine Department in the district.
He is one of the few Rehabilitation Physicians in the country who holds Fellowship in Pain Management, Certification in Palliative Care and Certification in Rheumatology from EULAR, Switzerland. He previously worked in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal and formerly as Assistant Professor in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Jaipur.
He believes in a multipronged and holistic approach in treating chronic pain and rheumatological conditions. He is dedicated to help his patients regain their function through pain reduction techniques, interventions, lifestyle modifications and rehabilitation.
Trained in Landmark, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasonography guided pain interventions by the legends of the field, Dr Rachit believes in treating the cause of pain and makes individualized management plans in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere.
